Christmas and Wedding preparations

Yes I finally got around to writing a new post for my blog, yay! Just an update, Ryan moved up to Nebraska in December and we were able to spend a wonderful Christmas with my family. Right after he moved here we were hit with a snow and ice storm that turned Nebraska into a sparkling wonderland, as if we were inside of a snow globe.

Ice coated everything and even created branches of its own off of trees

During Christmas, it has always been tradition in my family to open one present on Christmas Eve after reading the story of the birth of Christ and the Nativity. Somehow that one present always turns out to be pajamas :) so we'll wear our pajamas to sleep and wake up the next morning to open presents. After presents we all went to the kitchen and helped make traditional Christmas Crepes (We only get this breakfast once a year and it is definitely something to look forward to). After an amazing breakfast and we all played games and tried out all of our great new gifts. It was so nice to be with my family and Ryan!

What joy it was to be with loved ones by the fire in the glistening lights of the Christmas Tree :)

The weeks since have been a flurry of planning, preparing, and working. I'm beginning to feel most of the stress of planning this wedding in these final months. It's all worth it though!! Things are starting to fit together and we've gotten a lot done.
We are registered at Williams-Sonoma , Bed Bath & and Beyond and Target.
Also, we found an apartment! We've put the deposit down and it will be all ready for us to move our stuff in a week before the wedding.
That's all for now but I will try to keep you posted on these big events ahead!
